Memorable Roasts with Joe Marshall
Is there any cosier kitchen than a boat galley? Joe Marshall is one of many Londoners who call the city's waterways home, and live, eat and cook on the water. He cooks me a well-practised Sunday roast from his mooring opposite Tower Bridge and shares how he gave up vegetarianism and was inspired to become a champion roast cook.
With thanks to Spark London, where I first saw Joe tell this story http://stories.co.uk/
I played a version of this piece at my Potluck event at the 2017 Hearsay International Audio Arts Festival in Kilfinane - with thanks to Diarmuid Macintyre, Diarmuid O'Leary and the festival team http://www.hearsayfestival.ie/
